Terms of service

Last updated October 22, 2026

The agreement

These terms govern use of the hosted Source ATS service, operated by Academy UX LLC (“Source”, “we”). By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to them. The open-source edition is licensed separately under AGPL-3.0; these terms do not apply to self-hosted installations.

The service

Source is an applicant tracking system: candidate records, pipelines, scheduling, outreach, integrations you choose to connect (Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack), and AI features that assist your team. AI output is advisory — hiring decisions are yours, made by people. We ship improvements continuously, and features may change; we won’t materially reduce the core service during a paid term.

Your account and your use

  • Keep your credentials safe; what happens under your account is your responsibility.
  • Use Source only for lawful recruiting. You are responsible for complying with the employment, data-protection, and anti-discrimination laws that apply to your hiring — including where the law requires telling candidates how their data is handled.
  • Connect only mailboxes, calendars, and Slack workspaces you have the authority to connect.
  • No abuse: no unauthorized access attempts, no scraping other workspaces, no using the service to send spam, and no reselling access without an agreement with us.

Your data

Your workspace’s recruiting data belongs to your organization. We process it to provide the service as described in the privacy policy, never sell it, and never use it to train generative models. You can export it, and when you leave you can take it with you and ask us to delete the rest.

Fees

Paid plans are billed as described at purchase. Prices can change with notice before your next renewal. Taxes are yours where applicable.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it fast, correct, and available, but we don’t warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and AI features in particular can be wrong — review their output before acting on it. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits what can’t lawfully be limited.

Ending things

You can stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put the service or others at risk, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (data ownership, liability limits) survive termination.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes are dated above and, for paid workspaces, notified before they apply. Questions: email support@b150.ai.
